"From Grapes to Mushrooms: The Farm Workers' Rights Movement, 1965-2026."
This talk traces the history of the United Farm Workers, Eugene Friends of the Farm Workers and Oregon's farm worker union, PCUN. It includes issues facing farm workers today:  detentions, deportations, lawsuits, legislation, and the Windmill Farms mushroom boycott, announced by the UFW in 2024 and expanded to Oregon by PCUN in 2025.
