Oregon NOW, the South Willamette Valley Chapter, and its sister chapters invite you to a virtual talk by Jamie McLeod-Skinner, "Bridging the Divide."
About Jamie:
Jamie McLeod-Skinner is an attorney, regional planner, engineer, and small business owner who has bridged divides from rural Oregon to war-torn Kosovo. From 2017 to 2020, she traveled over 60,000 miles throughout our state to listen to and engage Oregonians in bridging the political and cultural divides within our state. Her work to repair our social fabric helps build healthier, more equitable, and more resilient communities.
Jamie serves as Chair of the Jefferson County Education Service District Board and Member of the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board. She has degrees in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer, Regional Planning from Cornell, and Law from the University of Oregon, as well as certificates in Human Rights from Oxford and Executive Leadership from Harvard. Jamie spent part of her childhood in East Africa before becoming an Oregonian. She and her wife, Cass, live in Central Oregon.
