The Cal Young Neighborhood Association and the Wesley United Methodist Church invite you to “The Art of Tough Talks.”

Prompted by an early morning news report that catapulted the nation into a fiery debate, Michelle Lang created this multimedia project that utilizes the performing arts to foster conversation & reflection on hard topics like justice, politics, and identity. Lang is bringing her group of PDX actors and facilitators to help us have a neighborhood conversation about these crucial topics.

This an evening of food, a short play, and real, meaningful conversation with friends and neighbors. It is in hearing and sharing stories that we can better understand and care for each other.
