DPLC Lobby Day

  • Oregon State Capitol 900 Court St. NE Salem, OR 97301 (map)

Join the DPLC for its Lobby Day in Salem! This is a chance for Lane County Democrats to visit our legislators in the Capitol on March 7 and speak about the issues that are important to us. Those attending the lobby day will work together on which issues to bring up with each legislator. It will depend on which committee the legislator serves, where bills are in the process, what bills/issues the DPLC has endorsed, and on the interests of those participating.

Visits have been scheduled with all ten Democrats in the Lane County legislative delegation. The appointments are spread over the day, so please feel free to join in any or all of the visits. The schedule is as follows:

Rep. Marty Wilde - 9:15 a.m.
Sen. Floyd Prozanski - 9:45 a.m.
Sen. Arnie Roblan - 10:30 a.m.
Rep. Caddy McKeown - 2:00 p.m.
Sen. James Manning - 2:30 p.m.
Rep. John Lively - 3:00 p.m.
Rep. Julie Fahey - 3:00 p.m.
Sen. Lee Beyer - 3:30 p.m.
Rep. Nancy Nathanson - 3:30 p.m.
Rep. Paul Holvey - 4:00 p.m.

Sign up here to attend the lobby day, or email DPLC Platform Chair Charlie Swanson at platform@dplc.org if you're interested in attending. Carpools from Eugene will be available, and there is money in the DPLC budget to assist with travel expenses for those wanting to drive.
